The tape roller for manual shutters, known as the Insert Roller, has been specifically developed for use in Roller Shutters Australia systems. It is designed for ease of installation, reduced control tape wear, and a clean, modern appearance.

The design focuses on delivering a high-quality roller that minimises wear on the control tape. The roller incorporates retaining flanges on either side, allowing it to move with the tape rather than rubbing against it, which significantly improves durability and performance.

The insert section of the housing (coloured blue) can be removed at any time, either before or after installation. This feature allows the roller to be serviced or replaced without removing the outer housing from the wall, making maintenance simple—particularly if the control tape needs to be changed.

In addition, the insert can be rotated a full 360°, in 2.5° increments. This provides flexibility for a wide range of installation scenarios while maintaining a neat and aligned internal finish.

By rotating the outer housing in 15° increments, the top fixing screw can be aligned directly into a wall stud while still keeping the roller perfectly vertical. Screw caps are included to provide a clean, finished look that meets customer expectations.

Note:
Screw caps should only be fitted once the installation is finalised. For best results, insert the thinner edge (facing outward from the roller) first, then press firmly into place.

Each Insert Roller is supplied in an individual plastic bag and includes the outer housing, two hole caps, and the inner housing with the roller pre-assembled.
