Resettable Error Mode – E-Port 18650 RF & Non RF

Feature Description
Automatic Error Mode Reset The latest 18650 E-Port Controller resets automatically once the battery is disconnected from the circuit board or discharges enough for the controller to go into “sleep” mode. The controller can then be reactivated by charging.
Error Mode Detection If the controller detects irregularities in the charging circuit, it goes into Error Mode to prevent potential overcharging of the battery.
Previous Reset Method In older versions, Error Mode could only be reset by returning the controller to Ozroll for reprogramming and testing.
Reset Capability Both RF and Non RF 18650 E-Port Controllers now feature this reset capability.
Batch Number Identification The batch number in the serial number on the back of the controller helps determine if the controller has the Resettable Error Mode feature. Non RF controllers (15.600.001) have this feature with batch numbers 0027 and above. RF controllers (15.601.001) include this feature with batch numbers 0011 and above.
Serial Number Breakdown The serial number consists of the Product Number (first two digits), Batch Number (next four digits), and Production Sequence Number (last four digits).
Error Mode Investigation If a controller frequently goes into Error Mode, inspect the charge circuit for issues such as swarf behind the wall plate, crushed wires, stray wires, or contact with metal in the wall construction.
